Breastfeeding may be one of the most natural things in the world, but it doesn’t come naturally to every mother. It takes a bit of practice for mother and child. Lakeside Women’s Hospital has lactation consultants that can help you and your baby become old pros at breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding is endorsed as the preferred method of infant feeding by these authorities.
Lakeside lactation department is an Oklahoma Healthcare Authority outpatient lactation consultant provider. OHCA currently covers up to six outpatient consults within six months of delivery.
Visit the Milk Bar Lactation Support Group - There will be NO MILK BAR at the Little Ark during the month of March.
A safe place for Moms to come together and share their breastfeeding experiences and knowledge or seek advice. It’s a great place to make new friends, weigh your baby and get support from our lactation consultant and other new Moms. Expectant parents are also encouraged to attend in preparation for your newborn. The Milk Bar is free, and registration is not required. A baby scale is available for mothers to weigh baby. Siblings are welcome.
